Delete your RightGym Buddy account

RightGym Buddy, published on Google Play by HarishKumar, lets you permanently delete your account and the data associated with it. You can do this from inside the app, or by submitting the form on this page — you do not need to reinstall or open the app to use the form.

Option 1 — delete from inside the app (immediate)

Open RightGym Buddy and make sure you are signed in.
Open the side menu (☰) and tap your account entry.
Tap “Delete profile permanently” and confirm.

This deletes your account, your cloud data and the data stored on your device straight away. No further request is needed.

Option 2 — request deletion from this page

Use this form if you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in. We will confirm by email once the deletion is complete.

Prefer email, or the form is not working? Send your request to harishisin@gmail.com from the email address linked to your RightGym Buddy account. Requests sent by email are handled exactly the same way.

What gets deleted

Choosing “Delete my account and all associated data” removes:

Your RightGym Buddy account and sign-in identity (Google or email)
Your profile and app preferences
Custom exercises, workout plans and planned exercise groups
Workout sessions, session exercises and every logged set
Body weight and body measurement logs
Friend connections and friend activity reactions
Workout reminders and notification settings
All workout data stored locally on your device

What we keep, and for how long

Anonymous, aggregated usage and crash statistics that are not linked to your account and cannot be traced back to you
Encrypted operational backups, which are overwritten automatically on a rolling 30-day cycle
Purchase, billing and tax records where we are legally required to keep them — these are held by Google Play, not by us, and are kept only for the period the law requires

How long it takes

Deleting from inside the app takes effect immediately. Requests submitted through this page or by email are completed within 14 days, and never later than 30 days of us receiving them, and we email you a confirmation when the data has been removed.

Deletion is permanent. Once your RightGym Buddy account is deleted it cannot be restored, and you would need to create a new account to use the app again.
